Gentle and refreshing cream flavors, fluffiness and special softness, a pleasing yellow hue, variously scattered irregularly shaped holes – these are the descriptions given to the semi-hard “Germanto” TILSIT cheese, created in Tilsit in the 19th century by the Prussian-Swiss landowners Westphal family. It is a product intended for snacks, roasts, pancake fillings, hamburgers, wraps and hot sandwiches. When preparing meals with young cow’s milk cheese, you will not need a knife – the product is already cut into pieces of equal size and thickness.
