Niacin (vitamin B3, vitamin PP) is one of the B vitamins, or water-soluble compounds. Its properties extend to many processes in the body. Niacin can be found both in products of animal origin (poultry, beef, fish) and vegetable origin (nuts, legumes, grains), as well as in fortified foods.
