About Cranberries : Cranberries ( Vaccinium Macrocarpon ) are recognized as a superfood due to their high content of nutrients and antioxidants. Cranberries are in the same family as blueberries.
Cranberries are rich in vitamin C and fiber, which is rich in phytonutrients that are essential for overall health. In addition, they contain a variety of chemicals that help maintain the normal condition of the teeth, reducing the risk of developing urinary tract infections and inflammatory diseases.
Cranberry berries are highly valued for their high content of antioxidants and natural preservatives. They accumulate many biologically important substances: anthocyanins, proanthocyanidins, flavonols, phenolic acids. These compounds have anti-carcinogenic, antimutagenic, anti-radiation and anti-inflammatory properties, protecting cells from free radicals.
