If you care about the proper functioning of your muscles and want to maintain vitality every day – pay attention to magnesium in your diet. Magnesium affects the proper functioning of the nervous system and is involved in many important physiological processes for our body. Both magnesium and vitamin B6 contribute to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue and help maintain normal psychological functions.

Adequate magnesium intake is essential for the optimal functioning of many organs. Magnesium acts as a cofactor for about 600 enzymes and is involved in, among others, in muscle contractility, protein synthesis, thermoregulation, maintenance of the osteoarticular system and regulation of blood pressure. It takes part in maintaining homeostasis of the electrolyte economy, as well as in the synthesis of ATP (adenosine-5′-triphosphate). It regulates the level of glucose in the body, which is necessary to maintain energy throughout the day. Magnesium together with vitamin B6 contributes to the maintenance of proper energy metabolism, helps in the work of the nervous system, maintains proper psychological functions and contributes to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue. People exposed to stress may have lower levels of magnesium in the body [1]. In addition, it was noticed that low concentrations of the element may be associated with increased production of free radicals contributing to premature ageing of the body [2].

The causes of magnesium deficiency include stress, disorders of the gastrointestinal tract and kidneys, eating disorders, medications, high fibre intake, alcohol abuse, as well as practising intense sports. Symptoms of magnesium deficiency may include headaches, poor mood and well-being, lack of vitality, poor quality of sleep, heart disorders, tremors and muscle cramps, as well as erectile dysfunction in men [3]. Therefore, our diet should not lack the following sources of magnesium: pumpkin seeds, nuts, cocoa, whole grains, avocados, legumes, and in periods of increased demand, consider supplementation. You can find vitamin B6 in whole grains, fish, meat, legumes, egg yolk and bananas.

Our capsules Magnesium citrate + vitamin B6 contain a highly absorbable organic form of magnesium salt – magnesium citrate along with vitamin B6 (in the active form of P-5-P), which additionally supports its assimilation. A daily dose of 3 capsules provides 375 mg (100% NRV) of magnesium and 4.2 mg (300% NRV) of vitamin B6. It’s a great way to take care of your muscles, heart, electrolyte balance and support life’s vitality and well-being!

Why would someone benefit from supplementing with Magnesium citrate + B6?
– Magnesium and vitamin B6 contribute to normal energy-yielding metabolism.
– Magnesium and vitamin B6 contribute to the normal functioning of the nervous system, normal psychological function and reduction of tiredness and fatigue.

Osavi Niacinamide 500mg, 60 vegan capsules / /Best before 05.2024

Original price was: €5.99.Current price is: €3.99.

Food supplement in the form of a hard capsule containing niacinamide, an active form of niacin, also known as vitamin B3.

Do you want to maintain optimal energy levels on a daily basis? Or do you want to improve the workings of your mind or maintain good skin condition? Make sure you’re getting adequate amounts of vitamin B3, which is responsible for the smooth running of many processes in the body. Reach for Niacinamide 500 mg and see how it can affect your condition.

Niacin (vitamin B3, vitamin PP) is one of the B vitamins, or water-soluble compounds. Its properties extend to many processes in the body. Among other things, it helps in the optimal functioning of the nervous system, the maintenance of normal psychological functions and the reduction of feelings of fatigue and tiredness. It is believed that it can support neuronal function – it is considered a key mediator of neuronal development and survival – thus playing an important role in neurodegenerative disorders and neuropathological conditions [1]. Niacin also helps to maintain healthy mucous membranes and healthy skin, and contributes to the maintenance of normal energy metabolism. Studies have shown that niacin supplementation can improve lipid profiles in people with metabolic disorders [2].

Niacin exists in two main forms: as nicotinic acid (pyridine-3-carboxylic acid) and as niacinamide (also called nicotinamide or pyridine-3-carboxamide). It is involved in many biochemical reactions in the body. A niacin deficiency is associated with the development of pelagia, a disease manifested by the appearance of a pigmented rash or discolouration of the skin after sun exposure, redness of the tongue, gastrointestinal complaints (including diarrhoea, constipation and vomiting), and neurological disorders (e.g. apathy, lowered mood, fatigue, headaches, hallucinations). In order to prevent vitamin B3 deficiency, it is worthwhile to ensure a balanced diet. Niacin can be found both in products of animal origin (poultry, beef, fish) and vegetable origin (nuts, legumes, grains), as well as in fortified foods. Niacin can also be provided by appropriate supplementation [1,3].

Our supplement contains niacinamide (nicotinic acid amide), the active form of vitamin B3. One capsule, which corresponds to the recommended daily allowance, contains up to 500 mg of niacin (3125% RWS). The product has no unnecessary additives. Niacinamide 500 mg is recommended to be taken with or immediately after a meal.

Why would someone benefit from supplementing with Niacinamide 500 mg?
– Niacin contributes to normal functioning of the nervous system, normal psychological function and to the reduction of tiredness and fatigue
– Niacin contributes to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes and skin
– Niacin contributes to normal energy-yielding metabolism

What is special about capsules Niacinamide 500 mg?

Osavi Omega-3 Fish Oil Molecularly Distilled, 60 softgels

7.49
Softgel food supplement capsule with concentrated and purified fish oil (1000 mg per capsule) containing essential unsaturated fatty acids (DHA and EPA). Fish oil from pelagic fishes (anchovies) sourced from sustainable fishing practices.
Are you looking for a way to improve brain function? Or do you want to take care of the proper functioning of your heart or eyes? Omega-3 fatty acids can help you take care of your body comprehensively. Reach for fish oil and see for yourself the benefits you can feel and notice.

Fish oil is a source of omega-3 fatty acids and refers to two types of fatty acids: eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA). They are mainly found in fish, and in smaller quantities in other animal products or phytoplankton. They are important for the optimal functioning of individual systems. Omega-3 plays a structural role in the body – it is a component of phospholipids, which form the structures of cell membranes. DHA is found, among others, in the retina and brain. These acids also indirectly affect functions in the cardiovascular, respiratory, endocrine and immune systems [1].

Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contributes to the maintenance of optimal brain function and also has an impact on normal vision. It is thought that omega-3 fatty acids may protect against neurodegeneration in the elderly and reduce the risk of cognitive decline [1, 2]. Low intake of these acids may contribute to mood and psychotic disorders, among others [9]. Studies have shown that they are a valuable support for the visual organ in people working at a computer. They have a positive effect on the condition of the eyes, helping to reduce dryness [3]. It has also been shown that omega-3 intake helps the heart and circulatory system to work properly [4]. These acids contribute to lowering triglyceride levels, which may have a role in reducing the risk of cardiovascular disease [5].

Omega-3s are essential fatty acids and must therefore be provided with the diet. They are divided into ALA, i.e. α-linolenic acid (found e.g. in flaxseed oil, soybean oil, rapeseed oil and olive oil), and EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid) and DHA (docosahexaenoic acid), whose sources are fatty fish (e.g. salmon, mackerel, tuna, herring and sardines). EPA and DHA are bioactive forms – in order for the body to utilise ALA, it must be converted to EPA and DHA. However, this conversion is limited [1, 10].

Food supplements containing fish oil can be helpful in taking care of the body’s optimal performance.

The Osavi product is a specially formulated omega-3 fatty acid concentrate derived from the oil of pelagic fish (anchovies) from sustainable fisheries in the Pacific Ocean. The supplement is produced and tested according to the GOED (World EPA and DHA Omega-3 Organisation) monograph, and the oil used in its production is certified Friend of the Sea. There are 1,000 mg of purified fish oil per capsule and 2,000 mg of oil in the recommended daily serving (2 capsules), including min. 700 mg of omega-3 fatty acids. The product has a high content of EPA (min. 360 mg) and DHA (min. 240 mg). Omega-3 fish oil 1000 mg is a supplement in soft capsule form providing the essential fatty acids EPA and DHA.

Why would someone benefit from supplementing with Omega-3 fish oil 1000 mg?
– Docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contributes to the maintenance of normal brain function and vision.
– Eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) and docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) contribute to the normal function of the heart.

Osavi Primrose Oil with Vitamin A & E, 120 softgels

11.95

Softgel food supplement with cold pressed evening primrose oil standardised for the content of the essential fatty acid GLA. Enriched with vitamin A and vitamin E. Allows to comprehensively take care of the healthy appearance of the skin.

If you want to keep the skin healthy and help protect it against free radicals, reach for cold pressed evening primrose oil with vitamins A and E. The excess of free radicals leads to oxidative stress, which plays a key role in the ageing process, causing the deterioration of the appearance of the skin and the formation of wrinkles [1].

Evening primrose is a plant native to North and South America, which also grows in Europe and Asia. Native Americans used it as a compress for bruises and to soothe skin inflammation. Currently, evening primrose oil is promoted as a dietary component that promotes the health of the skin and mucous membranes [2]. The beneficial properties of evening primrose oil are due to its high content of gamma-linolenic acid (GLA). The GLA contributes to the skin’s proper hydration, firmness, elasticity, smoothness and resistance to fatigue. This acid is a component of ceramides that build the skin’s protective barrier and improves its blood circulation, reducing inflammation [3].

Primrose oil contains vitamin A, which causes the skin to have a healthy appearance, increases the epidermis, making the skin thicken, and has antioxidant properties which protect your cells against the effects of free radicals. Vitamin E inhibits the production of reactive oxygen species, and also has the ability to build into lipid structures, protecting against photoaging of the skin [4]. When our diet is deficient in GLA acid and vitamins A and E, there is a risk of increased loss of water through the skin which can lead to dryness, roughness and increased susceptibility to irritation. All of these can make skin age faster and appear “tired”. It can be worth considering the supplementation of these ingredients.

We offer you a comprehensive supplement containing evening primrose oil enriched with vitamin A and  natural vitamin E in the form of D-alpha-tocopherol. It is in the form of soft capsules that are easy to swallow. The daily dose provides as much as 1800 mg of cold-pressed evening primrose oil, including 144 mg of GLA linolenic acid. In addition, it contains 18 mg of natural vitamin E, i.e. 150% of the daily requirement for vitamin E, and 600 mcg of vitamin A, which provides 75% of the daily requirement for this vitamin. This composition is a bomb for your skin!

Why would someone benefit from supplementing with Primrose Oil 1800 mg with vitamin A and E?

– Evening primrose oil helps maintain healthy skin.
– Vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal skin.
– Vitamin A contributes to the maintenance of normal mucous membranes.
